Overview of Gardner's Multiple Intelligence
Gardner's Multiple Intelligence theory was found by Howard Gardner in 1983. He has discovered eight different types of intelligence.
- Linguistic intelligence (word smart)
- Logical-mathematical intelligence (number/reasoning smart)
- Spatial intelligence (picture smart)
- Bodily-Kinesthetic intelligence (body smart)
- Musical intelligence (music smart)
- Interpersonal intelligence (people smart)
- Intrapersonal intelligence (self smart)
- Naturalist intelligence (nature smart)
Multiple Intelligence theory tells about the different types of learning. So by learning these types of learning teachers will be able to help students with different types of learning styles.
